Jazz Vespers

Join us at Bethel AME Moorestown for our annual Jazz Vespers Christmas program, "A Joyful Noise." This festive afternoon features invited guest artists who bring the spirit of the season to life through jazz music. Add in soul-stirring poetry, and praise, and you have a celebration of artistry and faith that promises to uplift and inspire.

This year we welcome Grammy-nominated musician, Junior Mack, who picked up a guitar at age nine and taught himself to play. His soulful style is rooted in gospel and blues.  He has worked or shared the stage with artists of multiple genres including The Allman Brothers, Dickey Betts, Warren Haynes, Los Lobos, Cyndi Lauper, Robert Randolph, Derek Trucks, Jaimoe's Jasssz Band and the late David Honeyboy Edwards.

Mack was featured on Broadway in Ruben Santiago Hudson's Lackawanna Blues as the show's solo musician. The show was a Broadway Critics Pick for 2021.

Junior Mack is a 2011 inductee into the New York Blues Hall of Fame.
